Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of the website alaskaregisteredagent.co (the "Site") and the registered agent services ("Services") provided by Alaska Registered Agent.co ("we," "us," or "our"). Using our Site or purchasing Services constitutes agreement to these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

Alaska Registered Agent.co provides:

• A physical street address in Alaska that meets statutory requirements for registered agent designations
• Acceptance of service of process, legal documents, and official correspondence at that address during normal business hours
• Same-day scanning and electronic delivery of received documents
• A secure online dashboard for document access and storage
• Compliance reminders for biennial report filing deadlines

We do not provide legal advice, accounting services, entity formation filings, or representation before any court or agency.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and authorized to act on behalf of the entity you register. All information provided during enrollment must be accurate and current.

3. Pricing

• Service is priced at $99 per year
• Payment is collected at enrollment and upon each annual renewal
• Prices may be adjusted with no less than 30 days notice prior to your renewal date

4. Payment and Billing

• We accept major credit and debit cards as displayed at checkout
• If a payment fails, we will notify you; Services may be paused until payment is resolved
• No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a service term except at our discretion

5. Renewal and Cancellation

• Service renews automatically each year unless cancelled
• Cancel by emailing support@alaskaregisteredagent.co before your renewal date
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current term
• Upon cancellation, you must designate a new registered agent with the Alaska Division of Corporations to remain in compliance

6. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Supply accurate entity and contact information
• Update us promptly if your entity name, address, or contact details change
• Retrieve and act on forwarded documents within a reasonable time
• Maintain your entity in good standing with the state independent of our Services
• Use our address solely for registered agent purposes

7. Document Processing

• Documents are accepted during business hours (Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM PT)
• Scanning and electronic delivery occur the same business day in most cases
• We bear no responsibility for the content or legal consequences of documents received
• Physical documents are retained for 90 days after scanning, then securely destroyed

8. No Legal Advice

Alaska Registered Agent.co is not a law firm. Nothing in our Services, Site content, or communications constitutes legal advice. Seek a licensed attorney for legal matters.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Total liability for claims arising from Services is capped at fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control (weather, postal disruptions, government shutdowns)

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alaska Registered Agent.co and its owners, employees, and agents from third-party claims, damages, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from your use of Services or breach of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Alaska law. Disputes shall be resolved in courts located in Alaska.

12. Amendments

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting with a new date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

13. Severability

Unenforceability of any provision does not affect the remainder of these Terms.

14. Complete Agreement

These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Alaska Registered Agent.co regarding the Services.
